China: Yaogan-22 remote sensing satellite launched

At 2:31 p.m. Beijing Time on 20 October 2014, China launched the Yaogan-22 remote sensing satellite into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC). The TSLC is employed mainly for polar launches, such as meteorological, Earth resources and scientific satellites.

Turkey to launch Earth Observation Satellite

The launch of Turkey's Earth Observation Satellite Göktürk-2 is scheduled for 19 December 2012, 18:13 Turkey time. Turkey’s first domestic observation satellite, Rasat, was successfully launched into space in August 2011.
