Tomorrow, on Earth Day, April 22, NASA and the National Science Foundation (NSF) celebrate 20 years of the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) programme. This science and education programme make it possible that students, teachers and scientist work together and participate in science data collection through hands-on science in their local communities.
Romania joined nine other countries in the Network of European Space Education Resource Offices (ESERO), the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) announced. The official launch event took place during the ‘Romanian Space Week,’ an annual scientific conference organised by ROSA between 12 and 16 May 2014.

The Ecuadoran Civilian Space Agency was founded on November 1st, 2007 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as an independent civilian body to administrate and implement the Ecuadorian Civilian Space Program. EXA develops scientific research in the fields of planetary and especial sciences and promotes the development of science in the Ecuadoran education.
The Ministry of Education’s mission is to ensure both access to and quality of Early Childhood, Elementary and High School Education in Ecuador. It does so through the integral, holistic and inclusive education of children, youth and adults, taking into account the possible multiculturalism, multinationality, ancestral languages and gender. It promotes a perspective that strengthens social, economic and cultural development, and the unity of citizenship in the diversity of Ecuadoran society.
The agreement for the establishment of the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (CRECTEALC) was signed by the governments of Mexico and Brazil in 1997. The CRECTEALC impart long duration courses on space science and technology education.
