The 5th International Conference of Crisis Mappers (ICCM) took place from 18 to 22 November 2013 in Nairobi, Kenya bringing together practitioners, scholars, software developers and policymakers at the cutting edge of crisis mapping and humanitarian technology.
The 4th International Conference of Crisis Mappers (ICCM) took place from 11 to 14 October 2012 in Washington D.C. bringing together experts, practitioners, policymakers, technologists, researchers, journalists, scholars, hackers and skilled volunteers engaged at the intersection between humanitarian crises, technology, crowdsourcing, and crisis mapping.
Every year, the CrisisMappers Fellowship Program supports a number of individuals to participate in the annual conference of the CrisisMappers Network. This year, Google has offered to sponsor Fellowships for the 2012 CrisisMappers Conference, taking place in Washington, United States, on 11-14 October. CrisisMapper Fellows receive a free return flight, free registration, free participation in the Pre-Conference Training Sessions and are provided with mentorship before, during and after the conference.
