The Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) was created in 1998 by the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) as part of its policy on “Enhanced Practical Cooperation in the Field of International Disaster Relief”. The Centre is part of the International Staff’s Operations Division located at NATO’s Headquarters in Brussels.

The EADRCC achieves the following functions: coordination of the response to natural or man-made disasters including (CBRN) incidents and terrorist attacks within the Euro-Atlantic area, information-sharing on disaster assistance, organization of seminars and annual large-scale field exercises.
