British woman to row from Hawaii to Tuvalu Posted at 03:51 on 28 May, 2009 UTC A British woman attempting to become the first female to row solo across the Pacific Ocean has left Honolulu for Tuvalu. Roz Savage, who is 41, hopes to reach Tuvalu in about 100 days.
