INE is part of the Ministry of Finance of Mozambique (MF). INE is in charge of collecting census data and undertake regular surveys on different socio-economic related aspects. Currently INE is also starting to collect information on climate change related issues and information on hazard (impacts), specifically on drought, floods and epidemics.
