The Vietnam National Remote Sensing Center (RSC) is an agency of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE).
The RSC's main tasks include using remote sensing technology for investigation and monitoring natural resources and environment; acquiring, processing satellite images and redistributing them to users in Vietnam; applying satellite images for topographic map updating and creating for medium and smaller map scales (mainly 1/25000 and 1/50000); and researching, implementing and transferring technology in the field of remote sensing and cartographic mapping.
