European Space Imaging (ESI) announced it won a four-year contract with the European Commission (EC) worth approx. 22 Million Euro to provide satellite data in support to EC’s Agricultural Policy.
The Munich-based ESI will support the Commission with verification data for land use. The contract also foresees cooperation with German companies for image processing and with the German Aerospace Center, DLR.
The company has already been supplying the EC with almost 75% of all images used to support the European agricultural support program over the last decade.
