The European Commission is calling for expressions of interest for the “Copernicus Expert Group”. The Group has been established in order to provide the Commission with independent assessment of the Copernicus program status and evolution.
Several topics will be analyzed by the group members: Land Monitoring, Marine Environment monitoring, Atmosphere monitoring, Emergency management, Climate change and Security. Group reports will be issued to inform the Commission on different aspects. The Copernicus Expert group participants will be chosen from a pool of qualified experts from all around the world and with different working backgrounds.
Chosen specialists from the pool will be invited to the topical meetings. The meetings will take place in Brussels and/or Ispra on Commission premises or in another place announced in accordance with the procedures and schedule established by the Commission.
