Crisis Response Journal is an international publication focusing on response, resilience, continuity and security issues arising from large scale natural and man-made disasters, emergencies and terrorist attacks. UN-SPIDER contributed a guest article to the tenth anniversary edition of the journal. In the article, the authors describe the importance of space-based information for disaster risk reduction and potential of space technologies in this context.
