Space-based Information:Monitoring Unrest From Space (MOUNTS) is a monitoring system for volcanoes worldwide using Sentinel-1 (SAR), Sentinel-2 (SWIR) and Sentinel-5P (TROPOMI) data. The project focuses on calculating parameters which can inform on the state of the volcanic activity. It was developed by a collaboration of Technical University Berlin (TU-Berlin) and the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) with funding by GEO.X.
