ClearSite Projects from CoE4UNSDI

The United Nations and its partner agencies, member states and other related institutions are becoming more and more involved in hosting a broad range of vital services that goes from disaster response and peacekeeping to environmental protection and economic development. These services require the supply and the sharing of geospatial data among the various involved players in order to raise operational effectiveness and coordinate efforts.

In this context, the Center of Excellence for UN Spatial Data (CoE4UNSDI) is undertaking a set of three projects, collectively called ‘ClearSite’. ClearSite will provide the UN and its partners with a Web-based tool set in retrieving, combining and visualizing the information needed to support their operations’ making process, thus increasing effectiveness.
