Students of GIS analysis are invited by the geospatial analysis (GIS) software development company Azavea to apply for the company’s third annual "Summer of Maps".

The programme offers stipends to students to perform pro bono geospatial data analysis projects for non-profit organizations over a three month period in the summer this year. The projects have mostly great civic and social impact. Previous fellows worked on many projects that enable organizations to present their cases to authorities and communities, an enabled them to make strategic decisions.

The Application deadline is 16 March 2014 and applications should be submitted on the official website.
