NASA Applied Sciences: The Earth Science Applications Guidebook

NASA Earth Science Application Guidebook

The Earth Science Applications Guidebook, created by the NASA Applied Science program, is a collection of best practices and lessons learned on the use of Earth science information for decision-making. Available as web-based multimedia product, it showcases the wealth of knowledge and the passion of scientists, addressing climate change, biodiversity, disaster management, and other challenges. The guidebook offers practical guidance on applications to solve pressing problems on our planet.

The Earth Observation part, for example, offers a rich selection of potential data resources, mission highlights, and global collaborations. In the Use Cases chapter, you can find inspiring examples for global flood modelling or drought severity measurement.
