SERVIR update on recent extreme events in Mesoamerica and the Caribbean

SERVIR—Spanish for “To Serve”—is a Regional Visualization and Monitoring System that integrates earth observations (e.g. satellite imagery) and forecast models together with in situ data and knowledge for timely decision- making to benefit society.

SERVIR is a platform for collaboration and cross-agency coordination, international partnerships, delivery services and applications, supporting not only national governments, but also universities, NGOs and the private sector. (Source: SERVIR)
