NASA’s platform Images of Change has added new series of images that show how the mankind has changed the planet. The images were being captured over time and then compared; the changes can be seen clearly. They show e.g. shrinking glaciers, deforestation, urbanization, lake level fluctuations and other phenomenon. According to NASA these images serve as a source for studying the planet Earth’s transformation as well as for creating necessary policy measures.
