Established in 1994, the National Fire Authority assumed responsibilities to provide fire services for the entire nation of Fiji. Most of NFA's overall activities involve responding to incidents and suppressing fires. NFA responds to a variety of fire emergency incidents including: structure fires, vehicle related fires, other emergency activities including flood evacuation assistance and specialist response activities.
