Dr. Karen Payne from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government in Athens, GA (USA), as part of a paper she wrote compiled a list of data repositories that end users may find useful. The list is designed to point to free downloadable primary geographic datasets useful in humanitarian response - it includes some cross over into environmental data, but is designed for the humanitarian sector. The repositories are grouped according to the tabs at the bottom of the sheet. This is the first draft of the compilation - the list is openly editable and the author encourages corrections and additions, especially at the country level. Access the list here.
