CALL FOR PAPERS: Special issue on "Cutting-edge geoinformation tools
for natural hazard detection, monitoring, modeling, mitigation and
Decision Support System: Case studies in various types of natural
hazards alike flood, landslide & mass movements, forest fire, hotspot,
oil-spill, land subsidence etc." Disaster Advances is the
multidisciplinary journal is covered by following indexing and
abstracting databases: Thomson Reuters Products beginning with volume
1(1) 2008; Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE) including the Web of
Science; and ISI Alerting Service; Google scholar; and Geobase
(Elsevier).
Two special issues of the journal "Disaster Advances" will deal with
disaster including natural and man-made disasters and geoinformation
technology. These issues are to be published in January and April 2010
issues. Details of the journal, instructions to authors, and sample
papers can be accessed at the website. The guest editor is Dr.
Biswajeet Pradhan of Dresden University of Technology, Germany. The
deadline for submission is 30 November 2009. All papers will be
subjected to peer-review. Authors are requested to send the
manuscripts immediately and until the special issues deadline to
