More than 60 humanitarian networks and partnerships are invited to hold their meetings and organize joint sessions at the "Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week" (HNPW). HNPW 2024 will be held in a hybrid format from April 29 to May 10, 2024. The first week (April 29 to May 3) will be held remotely, while the second week (May 6 to May 10) will be organized face-to-face at the CICG in Geneva.
Nine areas of common concern will be addressed for inter-network collaboration. These are:
There is no attendance fee for participants, but participants in the face-to-face week have to cover their costs for travel and accommodation, and make their own hotel arrangements. Nominal invitations for visa support will be provided for speakers and panel members by the inviting network or partnership upon request. The HNPW secretariat does not provide travel support or nominal invitations to participants.

Therefore, the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) invites those interested in advancing their understanding and capabilities in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) to join the upcoming 5th Training Course on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Disaster Risk Reduction. The course will take place from May 14th to May 16th, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Global Flood Partnership (GFP) has announced that their annual conference will be held this year in Nairobi, Kenya. Registration for the even has now been opened. The subject of this years conference will be "EW4ALL: Strengthening resilience against flooding - Know, Monitor, Communicate, Respond!" and will include sessions covering the four pillars of Early Warnings for All (EW4ALL), including sessions on risk knowledge, monitoring and warning, communication and dissemination, and response and recovery.
